Even though I don't speak Mandarin, it's a relatively easy UI. Only thing I would say, is that it would be beneficial to have more translation to English (and other languages) for captions and such, but I fully understand this has primarily been for Chinese users. Ann “Nancy Drew” January 16, 2025 It was exciting to hop over to the tiktok Refugee Camp, Rednote. They were rather welcoming and accommodating. However, despite selecting the English option under language setting, many of the feeds were still presented in Mandarin. Also, some setting still remained as Mandarin. Bummer! It is somewhat challenging to navigate as the English translation is not up to par for some features. I tried to close the account, and everything on that page was Mandarin. Found a vid on tiktok explaining how to change the language, simple. The only thing I can't find is how to change the language to English for notifications, other pop ups, and the "see more" at the bottom of a vid, etc. I know they're working very hard to accommodate for English users as fast as they can.
